Timpanogos Wrestlers Finish 2nd at 2025 UHSAA 4A Boys Division A Tournament
The Timpanogos wrestling team delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 UHSAA 4A Boys Division A tournament, highlighted by two individual champions, Fisher Jolley (215 lbs.) and Xander Carlson (285 lbs.). Both wrestlers dominated their respective weight classes, bringing home titles for Timpanogos.
Fisher Jolley (215 lbs.) showcased his dominance throughout the tournament, securing multiple pins on his way to the finals. In the championship match, he controlled the bout from start to finish, earning a decisive victory to claim the 4A Division A title. His efforts contributed significantly to the team's overall performance.
Xander Carlson (285 lbs.) proved to be a force in the heavyweight division, using his strength and technique to overpower his opponents. In a thrilling championship match, he secured a hard-fought victory to become the 4A Division A champion in his weight class. His resilience and skill helped cement his place as one of the top wrestlers in the tournament.
Other Timpanogos wrestlers also had strong showings:
Connor Knudsen (138 lbs.) battled his way to the finals and finished as the runner-up, adding 23.5 team points.
Preston Carter (106 lbs.) fought back after an early loss, pinning his way through the consolation bracket and securing 3rd place with a major decision (12-0).
Ben Belliston (113 lbs.) claimed 3rd place with a dominant technical fall victory (21-6).
Parker Harvey (132 lbs.) finished 3rd, earning a 12-4 major decision in his final match.
Zack McCann (150 lbs.) placed 3rd with a fall in the 3rd place match, contributing 20.5 points to the team.
Additional top-eight finishes came from Simon Boyer (120 lbs.) – 6th place, Haydon Harris (120 lbs.) – 7th place, and Paxton Bentley (157 lbs.) – 8th place.
Isaiah Perez (150 lbs.) stood out by winning his 9th place match by technical fall (16-1).
With two champions and multiple podium finishes, the Timpanogos squad demonstrated their strength, perseverance, and championship potential. Their success at the tournament sets a strong foundation for future achievements in Utah high school wrestling.
