To Reno and back again…

This past weekend seven of our high school athletes loaded up to travel to Reno, Nevada to compete in the prestigious Reno World of Wrestling Tournament. Zach McCann, Fisher Jolley, Keagan Weaver, Logan Walker, Simon Boyer, Jesse King, and Stockton Sondrup all represented the Timpanogos Wrestling Club at this national event.

Six of our seven athletes qualified to compete on day two of the tournament. Highlight performances came from Fisher Jolley and Logan Walker. Fisher was top 10 in a field of 128 participants, while Logan also finished top 10 in his 32 man bracket.

Keagan Weaver and Jesse King fell just two matches short of podium placements in their respective brackets.

Off the mat he boys had a great time traveling to Lake Tahoe to see the record level snow pack and taking a polar plunge in the frigid lake.
